Gift Shop

The Gift Shop (located off the first floor lobby) carries a wide selection of snacks, cards, candy, flowers, balloons, books, magazines, toiletries, stuffed animals, baby items and a large variety of gifts. "One Stop Shopping" is our motto.

Staffed by volunteers, the Gift Shop hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays. We close at 6:00 p.m. on Friday during the winter months and remain closed until sundown on Saturday. Volunteer staffing hours may vary. MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted. Profits from the Gift Shop are contributed to the hospital to help fund facilities, equipment and programs.

Florists

Most area florists make daily deliveries to the hospital. Fresh, dried or silk flower arrangements may be purchased in the hospital Gift Shop. Please check with the nurse in the Intensive Care and Coronary Care Units before bringing or sending flowers to patients in these areas.

As service to friends and family members of Shady Grove Adventist Hospital patients, we are happy to provide you this listing of local hotelsto assist in making accomodations to be near your loved one during their stay.

Newspapers

Newspaper vending machines are located outside the hospital entrance and outside the Emergency Department. A variety of daily and weekly papers are available.

Lost And Found

Lost and Found is located in the Security Services Department. Items are held for 15 days before being donated to a local charity. If you have lost something, call (240) 826-6000 and ask the operator to page the security officer on duty.
