On behalf of Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, the Foundation is looking for funds for the following:

Pediatrics Department/PICU Donations Wish List

To help improve the quality of stay for our pediatric patients, from time-to-time we request donations of various items that will make their visit to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital a little more enjoyable. We currently seek the generous donation of the following items:

  • Packages of disposable sippy cups, without straws
  • Batteries: AA, AAA, and C size batteries
  • Packages of Pull-ups
  • Packages of disposable plastic baby spoons
  • Boxes of kids character Band-Aids
  • Chapstick or lip balm
  • Girls' hair-care items: pony tail holders, barrettes, wide tooth combs, detangler spray
  • Coloring Books
  • Small boxes of crayons, markers, colored pencils, ball point pens, pencils, kids scissors, bottles of glue, glue sticks, Crayola model magic
  • Word find, crossword, or soduko, mazes, dot to dot, etc. puzzle books for children and teens
  • Small bottles of bubbles (unscented) and pinwheels for breathing exercises
  • Doctor kits toys
  • Barbies (Caucasian and African-American)
  • Baby dolls (Caucasian and African-American)
  • New stuffed animals (with tags)
  • Hotwheels or Matchbox cars
  • Superhero Action figures (Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Power Rangers, Transformers)
  • Anything Dora, Spiderman, Elmo, Disney Princesses, Thomas the Train, My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop, Strawberry Shortcake, Hannah Montana, etc.
  • Infant rattles and small plastic infant toys
  • Small craft kits
  • Velvet posters to color kits
  • Craft supplies: beads, foam craft frames or doorknob hangers
  • Polaroid film (600 Platinum)
  • Video games for Playstation 2, Gamecube, and Gameboy, rated E or T, (especially Madden)
  • DVD movies (rated G- PG-13)
    • Classics, comedies, adventures and movies that inspire are great! Please avoid movies with death themes. We would especially appreciate anything Disney, Dora, Blues' Clues, Barney, Spongebob, movies for teens, and new releases. Family movies- Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, Dr. Dolittle, Homeward Bound, Indian in the Cupboard, National Treasure 2, Friday Night Lights, Remember the Titans, Batman, Spiderman 2, Superman, Robinhood, Ice Age, The Incredibles, Cars, Everafter, Enchanted, Pirates of the Caribbean, Matilda, Night at the Museum, Shrek 3, Akeelah and the Bee, Power Rangers, Transformers, Hulk, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Sweet Home Alabama, The Wedding Planner, Princess Diaries, Mean Girls, 27 Dresses, College Road Trip, Oceans 11, 12, 13, Clueless
