Mr. Paul F. Kruse

Paul joined Steptoe & Johnson LLP, an international law firm headquartered in Washington, DC as Chief Operating Officer in 1996. He is responsible for all administrative, operational, and planning functions at the firm. He has been active in the legal administrative field for over twenty years.

Prior to his current position, Paul was the Executive Director of Arnold & Porter, also headquarter in Washington, DC. He began his career in legal management and administration with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley, & McCloy, as Controller and later Chief Financial Officer of this New York City firm. Prior to Milbank, Paul worked with CBS, Inc. and PriceWaterhouse Coopers in New York City.

Paul is currently active in the Association of Legal Administrators where he has served on the Chapter Board of Directors and as Chapter Treasurer and Survey Committee Chair, The Financial Executives Institute, The American Bar Association as an associate member of the Law Office Management Section, The American Management Association and various other community and alumni associations.

Paul graduated with a BA degree from St. Bonaventure University with a major in Accounting and an MBA degree from the Martino Graduate School at Fordham University, Lincoln Center. He currently resides in Potomac, Maryland with his wife and two children.
