Doris Reinhart
Vice President and Administrator

Ms. Reinhart joined Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland (formerly Kessler-Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital) as the Administrator in 2000, six months prior to the hospital opening. Ms. Reinhart received her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Florida in 1968 and her Master degrees in Nursing/Nursing Administration in 1976 and Hospital and Health Services Administration in 1980 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In her current position, Ms. Reinhart is responsible for overseeing all the operations of Adventist Rehab and for expanding services and programs.

Prior to joining Adventist Rehab, Ms. Reinhart was Vice President for Kessler Rehabilitation Corporation where she focused on developing new inpatient opportunities for the corporation. Before joining Kessler, she worked as an independent consultant and was Senior Vice President with Tenet HealthCare in the Rehabilitation Division responsible for program and services development and implementation.

Dr. Terrence Sheehan
Chief Medical Officer

Terrence Sheehan is the Chief Medical Officer for Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland, an acute rehabilitation facility specializing in traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, amputations, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, cardiopulmonary conditions and neurological disorders. Dr. Sheehan received his medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed his residency in Boston at Tufts University - New England Medical Center. Certified by the American Board of Spinal Cord Injury, the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners, Dr. Sheehan also serves on the Medical Advisory Committee of the Amputee Coalition of America.
